During this past week, seventh grade students finished reading the novel Freak the Mighty. They were introduced to the end-of-novel assignment, a GRASPS case study. The activity was explained in detail and will be due Wednesday, December 2, 2015. While they will have some class time devoted to the assignment, some of the work must be done at home. Next week we will continue wrapping up the end of the novel and working on the GRASPS. We will end the short week with a grade-wide Colonial Day.Health: (Glasser & Leibowitz)

This week the students focused on how technology is changing the job market and the skills that they will need for their future. All students completed Unit Exam # 3 today. If they did not hand in Performance Task #3 it is due on Monday November 23rd. Have a nice weekend!
Science: (Camacho, Kalner, Tobia)
This week all Completed Science symposium projects and boards are due. Oral presentations in class started on Wednesday. The actual Symposium is Tuesday Nov 24th from 6-8pm. If your child cannot make it in the evening please send them with a note to school so we can make arrangements to save their projects. Please also return all borrowed materials and equipment as soon as possible.
