Have a happy break! This week we reflected on what we have learned and current events from 2016. When we return we will be examining the causes of the American Revolution.

This week in English class, students continued to work on the Reader Workshop. Working with their independent reading novels, students completed activities that assisted in character analysis, conflict analysis, and exploring different aspects of plot in fiction while reading. Students should continue reading and working on completing the Reader Response written assignments and the vocabulary chart. We will assist students in preparing the character memoir when we return from break. Wishing all LBMS families a happy holiday season and a restful, enjoyable break! Happy New Year!
