This past week we delved into Rumble Fish to analyze characters and make connections between texts. Students actively engaged in looking for text evidence to support various essential questions.  Chapters 1-6 have been thoroughly discussed, and chapters 7-8 have been assigned. We expect students to be ready with this for Monday. Next week, we will introduce the culminating project for the novel unit and will go over its expectations in detail. We will engage in a newspaper search activity and continue reading the novel.
