This past week, students practiced in their ELA review booklets for the upcoming ELA, which will occur the week we return from Spring Break. We also reviewed for and took an X Skills test for Workshop Three, which tested the critical reading skills and vocabulary they acquired over the past workshop. At the end of the week, students were introduced to their next whole-class novel, The Testing, by Joelle Charbonneau. We will spend the next several weeks working with this novel. Students will be reading both in class and out, so please expect to se the novel at home.
