The ELA was administered this week. Students who took the test worked hard and should be proud of themselves. Students who did not participate in the test spent time quietly reading or engaging in other quiet activities. During classes, we continued The Testing, reading chapters 9-12 and discussing the developing conflicts and character interactions. Students also collaborated on developing colony banners that represent what they've been learning over the course of the school year. Next week, reading and analysis of the novel will continue. Students should read Chapters 13-14 over the weekend.
