Science

This week in science, students explored the Circulatory System. They took an in depth look of the components of blood and the anatomy of the heart. There was a quiz on the parts of blood on Thursday. Looking to next week, we will continue to study this body system through a variety of labs and inquiry based activities. Students will conduct an investigation on factors that affect pulse rate, and another that demonstrates the properties of blood typing. Students will make connections to how poor health choices can lead to illnesses  of the Cardiovascular System, and how it relates to our body's ability to make energy.

Social Studies

This week students will continue to look at the development of political parties and theses surrounding the early nation including the Bank of the USA, American Neutrality, and how the Constitution is interpreted. Students will be having a quiz at the end of the week on the materials covered so far.
