ENGLISH:
Research paper were handed in this past Monday. Any overdue papers must be handed in as soon as possible. The fourth quarter is quickly coming to a close and the papers weigh heavily in the fourth quarter grade. We are culminating our work by watching Ruby Bridges, a film that ties in to our breaking barriers themes. Next week we will close out the school year by reflecting on our progress in writing and reviewing our portfolios. Summer reading options will also be discussed.
FAMILY & CONSUMER SCIENCE:
Students will present their class projects and use their culinary skills to prepare foods for their class luncheon.
MATH:
Please review for your final examination.
SCIENCE:
Students have been working out of their review packet for the Final on Thursday June 19th. Students must bring this packet everyday and have been assigned portions of it every night for homework. Students should be actively studying at this point. Extra help will be Tuesday and Wednesday before the final, as well as on Thursday morning at 7:15 am. Students will need a pencil, and both textbooks are due to be returned by Thursday June 19th.
SOCIAL STUDIES:
This week we will be reviewing the entire curriculum backwards on Monday and Tuesday. The walkabout from Friday is a form of review for the final exam which will be on June 18. A quizlet review is available here. Please study. The final extra help session will be Tuesday, June 17 for one hour.
