ENGLISH:
This week students received an inquiry test score. They also took their last SRI, which measured their reading growth since this past September. I encouraged students to share these scores with their parents. In addition, we discussed Japanese internment camps during World War II when we read "Letters from a Concentration Camp". Students had many questions about this episode in our history. Last, we spent a few days working on the rough drafts for our research paper. Next week, we will read "Hum" in the Expert 21 book. Please remind your children that the rough draft of their papers is due May 29th. On that day and the next, we will peer-edit and I will conference with them. The final completed paper is due June 9th.
